Our New York for Nurses @gofundme campaign got a mention in today’s print edition of the @wsj! Thank you everyone for your donations and sharing, within 10 days we’ve been able to provide much needed supplies and care packages to over 1,000 nurses in the city.

I want to give a huge shoutout to our friends at @juicepress for their amazing donation of fresh juices and healthy foods for over 800 nurses working in NYC. In one week we have have raised over $8,000 to help protect and supply our health care professionals who traveled here from out of state. Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this!

THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared, and been a part of helping support healthcare professionals who have enlisted to fight on the frontlines of this pandemic in NYC.
In one day we raised over $6,000 which will go directly to safely providing much needed care packages of supplies and food to the 1,000 nurses who flew in from around the country to help.
This started with a text from @anthonydimieri asking if we can get his cousin, a nurse who flew in this week, some basic non-perishables. From there we learned of the urgent need for masks, disenfectant supplies and scrubs. So here we go, thank you everyone. Things are really weird and strange right now, and seeing everyone come together has shown how we’re going to get through this and support everyone.
